As we inch our way closer to the 2020 election, many celebrities and influencers are taking this time to use their platform in order to encourage others to get out and vote.

It was recently announced that NBA star, LeBron James and his group, “More Than A Vote” will team up with the Los Angeles Dodgers in order to turn their stadium into a voting site.

ESPN has reported that this is the first time a major league baseball team has offered their facility to be turned into a voting center.

Over the past few months of the pandemic, the stadium has been used for coronavirus testing and a site for food distribution.

Just last month, Lebron’s “More Than A Vote” donated $100,000 to the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition to help pay oustanding fees and fines that were associated with felony convictions before residents registered to vote.
