Comedian and actress, Leslie Jones will join Laverne Cox to unveil some nominees for this year’s big show. This virtual event will take place on July 28th at 11:30AM EST/8AM PST on the official Emmys website in accordance with the COVID-19 restrictions during this time.

This year’s ceremony will be executive produced by Reginald Hudlin. Variety has reported that Hudlin is the first black man to hold this position. Back in 2016, Hudlin received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Special Class Program. In addition, he has produced the NAACP Image Awards for many years.
