Lucille Reddic is a woman of God, a speaker, financial coach, and certified information systems auditor. She is a wife of 36 years to her husband Donnie and resides in Dallas, Texas. She is a mother of 3 adult children. After her oldest daughter died of a brain hemorrhage in 2019, she was reminded that life is too short not to live her dream of helping married women.

Can you tell everyone who Lucille Reddic is?

My name is Lucille, and I am known as the “The Marriage Reconnection Coach!” I empower women who are feeling emotionally disconnected from their husbands to improve their verbal and nonverbal communication skills to create happy and healthy marriages. I am also the founder of Chosen Wives Tribe, a community of women committed to inspiring and empowering women to transform their minds and character to take their marriages from just surviving to thriving. Over the last 20 years, I’ve helped hundreds of women figure out ways to heal their relationships, grow together, and strengthen their marriages. So, they can build a solid foundation of trust, commitment, and appreciation.

Can you tell us more about Chosen Wives Tribe, and what motivated this desire to start your company?

I believe that marriage is created by God and that he manifests his majesty and blessings through it in a special way. I am passionate about helping women navigate the ups and downs of marriage because strong marriages create strong families. Strong families create the next generation. Satan wants to destroy the family to keep us distracted so that our focus is drawn away from our purpose.

When I got married, I didn’t know how to be a good wife. My parents got divorced when I was in second grade. I didn’t have an example of what it would take to keep my marriage happy and healthy. God placed some amazing women in my life to talk me down from the ledge when I wanted to throw in the towel and get a divorce. I started my company because I want to encourage and support wives the way those women encouraged and supported me. We just celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary. There were times when I didn’t think we would make it but I’m so glad that we did. I want to save thousands of wives from the emotional pain and life disruption that divorce causes. God did it for us and He can do it for you.

Can you share some tips on how you work with women and their marriage and why?

I have written a book titled, “That Secret Sauce: Essential Ingredients for Creating an Exceptional Marriage.” I share concepts and ideas about prayer, communication, commitment, physical touch, sex, forgiveness, and finances just to name a few. I share a few personal stories about how I dealt with some difficult issues. The book is specifically written for married women but has information that could also help husbands. I would like readers to know that there is no such thing as a perfect marriage. Also, they are not alone. Social Media will have you thinking that you are the only one struggling with the highs and lows of marriage. The truth is that we are all dealing with something. My book can be purchased online at www.thatsecretsaucebook.com. I also have created a 12-week coaching program where true transformation really starts. 12 sessions allow us to examine some issues, put a plan in place, and then monitor and coach through tweaks to the plan over 90 days to get big results.  What does it mean to you to empower women and why is it important?

I believe that women’s empowerment is where women feel they have the power to make decisions that are best for their lives. Many women put themselves last because they are wives, mothers, nurturers, and caregivers. I help women to see that they can’t pour from an empty cup. It is important that we practice self-care. I say to the woman that’s reading this right now, YOU MATTER!

What motivated you to begin financial coaching, and what would you like people to gain from taking the courses?

I started financial coaching because my husband and I struggled financially for too many years. We could not seem to get on the same page when it came to budgeting. Every few years there would be some event that would send our family into a financial crisis. After years of debt and despair, we were finally able to come together as a team and create an emergency fund and eliminate all our unsecured and vehicle debt. I want people to experience the peace that comes from having their financial house in order.

Can you tell us about the life of an author?

I was thrilled to finally be a published author. To see my name on the cover, having my words in print, and the respect of having accomplished the publishing of my work was an overwhelming feeling. I work on promoting and marketing my book almost daily. Social media and newsletters are what I’m using to attract readers. I’m not sure if my grind is typical but my goal is to sell one thousand copies this year. This will help me reach my goal of saving one thousand marriages this year.

Being a mother overcoming the loss of a child, how has that led you to help other women to move forward or work towards moving forward?

My oldest daughter died of a brain hemorrhage in 2019. She was 43 and always the life of the party. Her death reminded me that life is short. I am always thinking of and serving others. Serving others gives me great happiness. I feel that God allowed me to experience a few things so that I can be a living testimony to the grace and mercy of God. I know that there are women who need to know that they can make it to the other side of loss and disappointment. I’m here to encourage them.

What advice can you provide to women that are overcoming loss and trying to live out their dreams?

Gratitude has given me the power to rise above my loss. It’s life-affirming and provides hope and healing. My gratitude for the time I had with my daughter has transformed my grief into honoring her memory by pursuing my passion to help as many married women as I can while I am still here to do it.
