ABOUT LUCINDA MOORE
In 2004, Lucinda Moore independently released her first solo recording, entitled UNLIMITED PRAISE. By 2005, Lucinda had managed to land a national recording contract with Tyscot Records with the help of industry veteran, Telisa Stinson. Less than a year later in ’06, Lucinda released her debut self-titled live CD/DVD, that landed in the top 20 on the Billboard Gospel charts and also spawned a big radio hit “Pressure into Praise.” The success of a popular radio single and chart-topping debut, put Lucinda’s already rising career into high gear. Four years later in 2010, Lucinda returned with her highly anticipated second release BLESSED, BROKEN, and GIVEN, which landed at #13 on Billboard’s Top Gospel album charts, solidifying Moore as a major player in gospel music. This album would eventually win Lucinda her first Stellar Award in 2011 for Best Traditional Female Vocalist of The Year.
After a brief hiatus from the limelight, Lucinda has returned to the music scene with one of her most infectious singles to date, “Lord, I Hear You.” The bouncy, contemporary, groove of Lucinda’s latest single has been faring extremely favorable at radio and with gospel music fans alike. “Lord, I Hear You” landed on the Billboard Hot New Singles Sales charts for 8 consecutive weeks garnering major attention right from the start. In February 2023, “Lord, I hear you” hit #1 on Media Base Chart and #3 on Billboard “Gospel Airplay” charts. “Lord, I Hear You” made the editorial playlist of all the digital outlets, and to date is at 10.5 million streams!!!
