On Friday, May 20, 2022, Baltimore, Maryland will be charmed with performances by Megan the Stallion, Lauryn Hill and D-Nice at Preakness Live.  Preakness 147 will feature culinary, art and musical events, held at the iconic Pimlico Infield.  A new collaboration with Baltimore 1/ST, owners of Preakness, and Kevin Liles, Baltimorean and Chairman/CEO of 300 Entertainment and Elektra Entertainment Group, will bring combine the excitement of racing with a full bodied festival experience.

Marcus Samuelsson, Top Chef Masters/Chopped All Stars/Top Chef Family Style and owner of acclaimed restaurants worldwide, will join Tom Colicchio of Top Chef and Gail Simmons(Top Chef/The Good Dish/Top Chef Amateurs, to perform culinary showcases on the Pimlico Infield MainStage.  Baltimore’s own, Saon Brice, Executive chef of BLK Swan, will also share his expertise in fine dining on Friday’s, Black Eyed Susan Day.

1/ST Experience also wanted to include Baltimorean artists with the assistance of Derrick Adams, founder of “The Last Resort Artist Retreat”.  Mr. Adams curated an art garden on Pimlico Infield that will include activations and works by entrants to Preakness 147’s Art of Racing campaign.
