Miss International Africa/Miss International Liberia, Naomi Nucia Glay, is empowering sexual abuse survivors with her platform. Currently working as a model, Glay is paying it forward by allowing her trauma to help fuel her to utilize her voice purposefully. Glay has started her own 501c3, Power Talk Inc. Power Talk sparks taboo conversations by providing knowledge and resources needed for personal wellness.

Glay is preparing to host her 3rd annual Power Talk Summit. In previous years this event has taking place in the city of Atlanta. Due to Covid-19 this years panel will be a virtual event. “ It was a very difficult decision for me to go virtual with this event,” says Glay, “I was concerned that it would lose some of it’s luster with it not being an in-person event”

Panelist include:current Miss North Carolina, Alexandra Badgett, who is an ally for sexual abuse survivors and also has a nonprofit organization dedicated to the cause. Power Talk event will take place on July 12th via Zoom. The mission of Power Talk Inc is to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere for both men and women to share their testimonies while aiming to inspire the voiceless.

Currently there are sponsorship opportunities for the Power Talk Summit. For more information about sponsorship please contact info@fiprm.com or click here!
