Congratulations are in order for Missy Elliott!
The Grammy Award-winning artist will receive her star on November 8th and it will be the 2708 star on the iconic street. This honor will be awarded by Ciara, Lizzo, and Mona Scott-Young.
Elliott’s star will be located in front of the Amoeba Records store on 6212 Hollywood Boulevard. Of course, it goes without saying that Elliott has made her mark in the world of entertainment and fashion. In addition to this special honor, Elliott will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame – where she will become the first female hip-hop artist to be inducted. Last but certainly not least, she will receive an honorary Doctor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music.
Missy Elliott’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony will take place on Monday, November 8th at 11:30 AM PST.
