MTV’s hit series, True Life is taking their viewers on the front lines of our global pandemic.

The network has just revealed that a new self-shot special titled, True Life Presents: First-Time Responders will showcase and spotlight millennial volunteer first responders working in New York City during the pandemic.

The series will follow Rhanell aka Nurse Barbie – a 31-year-old trauma nurse and Alex aka Ace – a 33-year-old FDNY EMT. Both work their day jobs and serve Throggs Neck Volunteer Ambulance Corp – which is the Bronx’s only volunteer EMT squad.

MTV reported that both first responders are risking their lives in order to save others during this difficult time. The series will showcase ambulance runs, confessionals, and moments at home and in the field.

True Life Presents: First Time First Responders will air on Tuesday at 9PM EST.
