The 48 -year-old hip-hop legend is currently building an investment portfolio nearly as untouchable as his rhymes. Recently Nas joined forces with Google, Riot Games and other investors to raise $20 million for Carry1st, the gaming company known for the game “SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off.”

“We’re excited to partner with this world-class group of investors who, in addition to capital, bring expertise across gaming, fintech, and web3,” said co-founder and CEO of Carry1st, Cordel Robbin-Coker. “In 2021, we launched multiple games and digital commerce solutions, achieving really strong growth. Together we can accelerate this growth and achieve our goal of becoming the leading consumer internet company in the region.”

The funds will be used to expand the company continuously.
