"New Amsterdam's" Season 3 Return

Dr. Floyd Reynolds’s (Jocko Sims) dramatic return to Season 3 of the hit NBC New Amsterdam to save the life of Dr. Kapoor (Anupam Kher) and saving a young heart transplant patient from a medical mystery. Welcoming Lyn Malio (Frances Turner) as a fresh, new look to the show and closes friend to Dr. Reynolds.

SHEEN Magazine had the opportunity to speak with two of the amazing co-stars of the hit show New Amsterdam. Jocko Sims (Dr. Reynolds) and Frances Turner (Lyn Malio) discussed set life in the pandemic, working together, and what’s we can expect on the show.

Jocko shared, “France is into it. She has her opinion about the dynamic, the character, where things should go, and where they could go. All of that is so refreshing to have in an acting partner.”

Frances adds, “That’s what keeps it interesting. From me, I had to decide for myself, why her? Why Malio? Why does this woman knock him off his square a little bit? Why would he end consider a scenario like this? It’s just because he’s genuinely down with it, it has to something special about this woman.”
