It was back in December when Pharrell Williams launched a nonprofit initiative titled, Black Ambition to bridge the gap to success for Black and Latinx entrepreneurs in the tech, design, healthcare, consumer products and services start-up.

We’ve just learned that Black Ambition has teamed up with fashion powerhouse, Chanel!

The two have created a mentorship program that focuses on propelling female Black and Latinx entrepreneurs.

The first initiative, which took place on June 11th featured a star-studded panel including Tracee Ellis Ross, Edith Cooper, Emma Grede, and Nathalie Massenet.

The panel, which was held virtually covered topics in regards to leadership, mentorship, and building culture. This just serves as part one of the two-part initiative. A series will follow offering mentorship workshops for the Black Ambition finalists.
