Terrace Martin is one of the most well-respected producers in the music industry, and his catalog of hits speaks for itself. The Los Angeles native is best known for producing some of Kendrick Lamar’s biggest hits, including “m.A.A.d city,” “LOYALTY.,” “These Walls,” “The Blacker the Berry,” and so much more.

Terrace isn’t just a producer, he’s a multi-instrumentalist who spends the majority of his waking hours in the lab perfecting his craft. When he’s not collaborating with other legends, he’s focused on his own solo artistry.

Now, Martin returns with his newest album called FINE TUNE, released via his Sounds of Crenshaw and BMG label partnership. The project is focused on the legacy of jazz music, the first of six jazz albums to be released throughout this year.

On Wednesday, July 12th, Terrace Martin hosted an exclusive, intimate dinner at Verse LA in Toluca Lake, California. The invite-only event featured a pre-fixed menu prepared by the chef, as Terrace took the stage with his live band. The drums, the standing bass, and the keyboard were the perfect addition to Martin’s saxophone in hand.

The evening was truly one to remember, as jazz music accompanied our delicious meal. Terrace Martin gets on the mic stating, “I’m from Los Angeles, that shit sounds like I’m from Salt Lake City!”

Terrace also brought out special guests Arin Ray, as he wrapped the last night of his residency at Verse LA.
