Penny Proud is back and better than ever!
Just recently, Disney+ released the first trailer for the revival series, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. The new series is set to to premiere on the streaming service in February 2022.
You’ll be happy to know that most of the original voice cast is back including Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai Parker, and Jo Marie Payton.
There will also be new characters including Penny’s boyfriend Kareem [voiced by Asante Blackk], a new family on the block that includes Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins [voiced by Keke Palmer], her brother, KG [voiced by Artist “A Boogie” Dubose], and their dads Randall [voiced by Billy Porter] and Barry [voiced by Zachary Quinto].
Finally, there will be celebrity guests including Lizzo, Lil Nas Z, Chance The Rapper, Normani, Leslie Odom Jr., Tiffany Haddish, Lena Waithe, Anthony Anderson, Gabrielle Union, Jane Lynch, Jaden Smith, Brenda Song, Eva Longoria, and more!
