SHEEN was able to attend a private listening event for Singer Vedo . I was able to speak to the now platinum R&B artist. Now a lot of people think that the singer is new to the game, but most don’t know that he has been around for quite some time now. Vedo was featured on the hit music competition series, The Voice back in 2013. Though he did not win, it didn’t stop him from going after his dream and shortly after singer, Usher brought him up under his wing. Vedo was then known for his great writing ability and would have to play to the background while writing for artists like Usher, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Ella Mai, and more.
Vedo expressed how hard it was to sit background but knew that a lot of greats started off writing until it finally became their time to be in the limelight and at the time it was the best thing financially for his career.
Now we all know his 2020 summer hit for the ladies that blew up on TikTok that later went platinum “You Got It” and when we ask the singer if he felt the pressure to make another song to go viral on TikTok, he shared that he has got that from a lot of people, but he is only trying to make good music. If it is a hit, then it will be a hit regardless.
