Her brand Tori Williams Events is a full-service design and event planning company that focuses on social and corporate affairs, and now she’s co-starring in VH1’s All-New Reality TV series, “My Celebrity Dream Wedding.”
Stemming from the popular celebrity dream wedding special that aired on VH1 earlier this year, the competition returns with three elite wedding planners as they pitch their extravagant bridal visions and throw celebrity-inspired weddings for engaged couples on a budget. The series also provides do-it-yourself tips and hacks on how to plan a fairytale million-dollar wedding for a fraction of the price.

Tell me a little more about your business?
Tori Williams Events is the name of my business, and I’ve been in business for nine years. I have a venue located less than 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta. The TW Events Venue offers over 11,500 sq ft of intimate event space with two astonishing ballrooms. It’s such a great venue for Weddings, Luncheons, Dinner Parties, Corporate Events, Photography Sessions, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, and more!
Congrats on the new show!! How does it feel seeing yourself in such a positive light?
It feels great to see myself in a positive light, and it’s an honor to be a Co-Star of My Celebrity Dream Wedding. I love the fact that it showcases African Americans in such a positive light, and we get the opportunity to showcase our talents to the world.
What purpose or message would you like for individuals to receive about you?
I am who I am. I don’t put on a front for people. I am a child of God, a businesswoman, a wife, and a mother to my stepdaughter. I give it to people straight and real.
I know that you’ve worked with celebrities before, can you name a few?
Yes, I have produced events for several celebrity clients such as City of Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Olympic Gold Medalist and Activist Tommie Smith, T.I., K. Michelle, Trina, Mimi Faust, Michael Blackson, Will Packer, Celebrity Photographer Robert Ector, several NFL & NBA Athletes, Notable Doctors, and High-Powered Attorneys & Judges.
I love that you give insight into how to have elegance on a budget! When planning an event or wedding, what are three major things we should consider first?
Consider your budget, guest count, and the overall vision for the event.
As an Event Planner, what are some of the duties that you enjoy doing the most, and why?
I love interacting with my clients. I get to meet new people all the time. I get to hear their stories and be a part of one of the most important days of their lives. I also enjoy designing my client’s events.
What does the future hold for you?
Growing my company into a major empire and empowering other women and young girls coming up in the community. I want to be the face and example for people coming up behind me because it gives them hope. I want them to know if I can do it, anybody can. My future is filled with happiness, peace, and becoming a multi-billionaire.
Anyone that you would like to work with one day?
The key person I would love to work with, is Oprah. She is number one on my list. Number two would be Kim Kardashian; I respect her hustle. She is a very smart businesswoman, beautiful, and a marketing genius. I love working with like-minded businesswomen like Kim and Oprah. The last person would be Michelle Obama. She is relatable, and I can learn a lot from her.
