I have been loving giving my hair a little TLC during this pandemic. Back when the pandemic first hit us, I decided I would take advantage of the “extra time” we were receiving to take my skincare and hair care seriously. The most difficult thing I struggled with in regarsd to my hair prior to the pandemic was that I was using the same drugstore products.

Don’t get me wrong, there are a bunch of staple items from the drugstore for beauty but when it comes to my hair, it needed more. I noticed that my natrurally wavy hair was just not waving the way it used to. This I know was because of all the damage I had done to my hair. Whether it was heat or color. My hair has been through it.

The first thing I did run to my hairstylist. She cut my severly damaged ends and made me go back to my root color, black.

The second thing I did was do some reserarch. I stunbled upon Miss Jessie’s and man, I’m so glad I did. I thought I would give their leave-in conditioner a try. I love that this leave-in conditioner is lightweight and detangles my hair when wet. I’ve also noticed that my waves are coming back to life and that my hair is a lot less frizzy. I have been religously applying this leave-in conditioner to my hair on the days I wash and it has been such a saving grace.

Miss Jessie’s Leave-In Condish, $11

I cannot tell you how many people have completed my healthy hair and I know it looks great because of this leave-in conditioner. It makes my hair so soft and shiny without adding any type of build up from products. It contains soybean and aloe which are the moisturizing components of my haircare routine.

Let me know in the comments what your favorite Leave-In Conditioner is!
