Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Angelica Bias just recently released her new single “You on You.” Produced by the Grammy award-winning hitmaker Henny Tha Bizness, the song offers a smooth acoustic melody over emotionally-charged sultry vocals. Henny Tha Bizness production credits include Chris Brown, Usher, and Drake.

Co-written by Angelica and Josh Bias, the single expresses sentiments about the roles and traits being reversed in a relationship and pulling a you on you. “Don’t make me pull a you on you/ Don’t make me do the things you do/ You wouldn’t like me if I wasn’t true/ You wouldn’t like me if I act like you,” she sings on the hook. “You on You” is a heartfelt ballad that further showcases her impressive vocal and songwriting abilities.

With an incisive pen and a sharp focus on vulnerability, Angelica knows how to pull your heartstrings with her highly infectious voice. She is a modern take on the timeless, heartache-tinged soul of smoky jazz bars and velvet-voiced storytellers. The songstress is a vocal powerhouse and consistently delivers effortless melodies doused in nostalgia. She continues to push creative boundaries, expanding her influence and impact in music.

Angelica Bias has been teasing up the release of her forthcoming EP, with a series of unforgettable singles. Angelica’s voice punches through tracks with passion, creating breathtaking musical moments and establishing her as one to watch.

Angelica Bias is an Atlanta, GA native, and also 1/2 of singer/songwriter duo Josh + Angelica. Her musical influence began through the love of music her parents portrayed to her. Both singers and songwriters, Haywood and Jerry Tucker encouraged Angelica to share her gifts that The Lord blessed her with by singing at her grandfather’s church. She grew up singing alongside her god sisters Tamika and LaTocha Scott, of the multi-platinum R&B group Xscape. Taking their advice a step further, Angelica began recording in Haywood’s Recording Studio — one of the first black-owned studios in Atlanta, owned by her father — which helped her make a name for herself throughout the city and land her a deal with Universal Records.

Angelica has ignited stages and serenades audiences with her powerhouse voice all over the nation. Her star power was quickly recognized by Grammy award-winning rapper Lecrae, who invited her to participate in his 2017 All Things Work Together tour. She’s also collaborated with Young Jeezy and Pastor Troy. In 2018, Josh + Angelica dropped an EP titled “Eternity,” which featured the melodic single by the same name. In 2019, Angelica released the rendition of the single “You Say” as a solo artist. Now Angelica is back with recently released single, “You on You.”
