Last night, pink hues took over the city as guests and supporters of Mz Skittlez’ prized coworking space, The Bakery CoWork, celebrated their one-year anniversary.

This time last year, business and marketing mogul Mz Skittlez (Mary Seats) carefully and gracefully cut the ribbon and opened her doors, introducing a new and versatile, luxe coworking space for business women in Atlanta and beyond. — People from all over the country have come to work on projects here and have ranted and raved about the experience. Women are able to rent office space, host classes or workshops, shoot productions and photo shoots, host meetings, network with other women in business, build community, and so much more!

The Rich Girl Gala brought out the queens and professional women who support and understand the power of purpose! — Skittlez reminded us that “If we have a PULSE, we have a PURPOSE” and she shared some of her dearest testimonies, including the loss of her sister due to suicide, while she was in high school. She spoke about her passion for helping other women reach their fullest potentials and her joy in being able to offer a place where they can feel safe and supported.

Her team members Zack and Marissa shared powerful words and testimonies as on the manner in which she has been such a pillar to their journeys and gave them space and opportunity to flourish in what they truly enjoy doing!

The night opened with sultry refreshments and a top-notch atmosphere for content and ambiance. Guests experienced the beauty of live ballerinas and a live band. We were serenaded by Vocalist Bobbi Storm, who took us on a vocal tour of black legendary songstresses and their most poppin classics; it was a whole vibe.

We heard from Ms. Kami Simmons, media personality and previous policy team member for Michelle Obama. — She spoke to extend her support and appreciation for Skittlez and the work she has done through providing The Bakery CoWork space for women. She gave her her flowers while she’s still here.

The food was amazing, the music was everything and the experience was top-tier. The show was elegantly entertaining and gave us all the boost we needed to keep excelling and blooming in our endeavors.
