Starz Releases Premiere Date & Trailer for ‘Power’ Spin-Off ‘Power Book II”

Have you been feeling a little blue since the series finale of Power? Don’t worry, you’re not alone.

We are too! That’s why we’re super excited and thankful that Starz has just released the official trailer for the 10-episode original series titled, Power Book II: Ghost.

The spin-off show will star Michael Rainey Jr. as Tariq St. Patrick, Naturi Naughton portraying his mother while Mary J. Blige serve as a drug dealer.

50 Cent’s crime drama series, Power ended earlier this year. Power Book II picks up after the passing of James St. Patrick aka Ghost (portrayed by Omari Hardwick).

It will follow the journey of Tariq as he navigates life in his new norm. In addition to the trailer release, Starz revealed that the saga will debut on Sunday, September 6th at 9PM EST.

It will air at 9PM EST for the premiere and beginning on Sunday, September 13th, it will air at it’s regular time 8 PM EST.
