It looks like Target is doing their part to contirbute to the Black community.

It has just been announced that the popular retailer store has pledged to spend more than $2 billion on Black-owned businesses by 2025. In addition, they will be introducing a host of resources for selected companies. Included in that an expert team will be formed to assist Black-owned suppliers scale their businesses to work with mass chains.

This program titled the Forward Founders was created in order to help entreprenuers.

In an official statement, Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer of Target, Christina Hennington said, “We have a rich history of working with diverse businesses, but there’s more we can do to spark change across the retail industry, support the Black community and ensure Black guests feel welcomed and represented when they shop at Target.”
