The Oscars says, the show must go on!

One of Hollywood’s biggest award ceremonies has just confirmed that they will hold their show in person in the year 2021!

The Academy and ABC confirmed to Variety that the award show will not go virtual despite the global pandemic. Originally, The Academy pushed back the date of their show to April 25th, 2021 in hopes that more films could be seen and qualify for the deadline.

The aim is to still hold the Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The theatre holds 3,400 people. Currently, The Academy is in the process of finalizing the details in terms of capacity and seating.

At this time, there has not been a host set for the award show.
