Author and on-air personality Emmanuel Acho is replacing Chris Harrison as the host of The Bachelor: After the Final Rose on Monday, March 15, after the season finale. The news comes after Harrison’s decision to “temporarily step aside” following a controversial EXTRA interview with Rachel Lindsay, a former Bachelorette.

Acho, the author of the 2020 bestseller Uncomfortable Conversations With a Black Man, will sit down with Bachelor Matt James. According to an ABC press release, the two Black men will “discuss Matt James season, his final decision and where he is now, as well as cover the current events about the franchise.”
