I know I can speak for myself when I say that I took advantage of the “down time” of the global pandemic to invest more into myself. What I mean by this is that I said enough was enough, I wanted my overall beauty game to be at the best it could be because why not?

I am guilty of being that chick that cleanses her face, and that’s it. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself lazy when it comes to skincare but when I see people raving over skincare products that cost a fortune, I think to myself why?

I’ve always stood true to the great beauty products offered in the drugstore and I truly believe that anyone can find the right products for themselves on the shelves of their local drugstore.

With so many products offered at the drugstore, it can kind of be overwhelming but with a lot of time and research, I was able to find the right products that worked for my skin and I am confident that you can too!

Check out these skincare goodies I have been loving from the drugstore lately below. Don’t forget to share your favorite drugstore skincare products with me in the comments below.

Amie Soft & Smooth Nourishing Moisturizer, $8.99

My dry, winter skin has been loving every bit of this moisturizer. It is perfect for those with sensitive skin. It is not oily (which I love) and it goes on the face smoothly. In addition, it leaves my face moisturized all day long. The smell is pleasant, not overbearing and I love that it is made from 98% natural ingredients. I pop this bad boy on at night before hopping into bed and wake up with fresh dewy skin, every single time.

Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Facial Balm, $10.99

What is a face balm even? I really couldn’t tell you why I purchased this over than the fact that it was super intriguing to me. The scent is light and the balm is like a gel/cream consistency. It is so hydrating on the face. A lot of people rave about Thayers toner – which is another great product but this is by far my favorite from the brand.

Bioré Daily Detox Exfoliator, $6.47

Sometimes our face needs a little, or maybe a lot of love. Exfoliation is a must and though it is not recommended to do everyday, I believe everyone should incorporate it into their skincare routines at least once or twice a week. This one is great because it has cannabis sativa seed in it. It leaves my face so refreshed after using and I love how gentle it is on my face.

Simple Skincare Instant Glow & Defend Wipes, $5.49

I know a lot of people try to stay away from makeup wipes but look, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. These new facial wipes from Simple are said to be super refreshing and brighten up the skin. They are also compostable and made with vitamin B3!
