In an effort to support Black small businesses that were affected by the global pandemic, the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation and the NAACP have teame up in order to create a grant program to help Black-owned small business across the United States and New England.

Recipients of the Power Forward Grant will receive a $25,000 grant each.

In an official statement, Steve Pagliuca, Celtics Managing Partner & Alternate Governor and Chairman of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation said, “A primary focus of Boston Celtics United is to make a meaningful impact through programs that support Economic Opportunity and Empowerment.”

Adding, “The Power Forward Small Business Grant is a major step in these efforts, and we are grateful to partner with Vistaprint and the NAACP in this shared vision.”
