The first of many memorials in honor of George Floyd took place just yesterday in Minneapolis.
Many of Hollywood’s hottest stars were spotted there paying their respects including Tiffany Haddish, T.I., Ludacris, and more!
There are many memorial services planned to honor Floyd’s life in the newst couple of weeks. The memorial included many speeches that were delivered before George’s golden casket was revealed.
In addition, there was a mural created at the site where he was arrested shown on stage during the memorial service.
We know that there will be a second memorial service taking place on Saturday, June 6th at 1-3PM in North Carolina where Floyd was born. There will also be a public viewing on the 8th at The Fountain of Praise Church near Houston, Texas – the city where Floyd gew up.
His official funeral will take place at 11 AM on June 9th at the same church, with his burial to follow.
