It has just been announced that J.P. Morgan Wealth Management has created the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Scholarship Program for students at HBCUs that are interested in a career in financial planning.

This program offers scholarships and mentorships to students attending one of 11 HBCUS across the United States to further progress their skills needed in the finance field.

Over the next five years, J.P. Morgan Wealth Management will offer 75 scholarships annually.

Students that receive this scholarship will have the opportunity to participate in two summer experiences the Advancing Black Pathways Fellowship Program and the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Service Center Internship. Once they complete the experiences, students will become elgible for an additional scholarship to be applied to their last year in college.

The 11 elgible HBCUs include: Alabama A&M University, Central State University, Clark Atlanta University, Delaware State University, Howard University, North Carolina A&T State University, Paul Quinn College, Prairie View A&M University, South Carolina State University, Tennessee State University and Winston-Salem State University.

Those interested in applying must do so by June 24 at 11:59PM EST.
