William Jackson Harper just landed himself a new role in HBO’s dramedy, Love Life.

The series follows singles on their journey of finding love. Harper has previously starred in The Good Place and The Underground Railroad.

He will portray Marcus Watkins – a single, known for commiting to the wrong person on his journey to finding real love after his divorce.

At this time, we know that actress Sasha Compère will be returning to reprise her role in the second season, as well as Kimberly Elise, Blair Underwood, Jessica Williams, Punkie Johnson, John Earl Jelks, Ego Nwodim, and Christpher Powell. Narration of the series is conducted by Keith David.

The series is co-executive produced by Sam Boyd and Briget Bedard.
