Quandell: I’m very humble and understanding. I believe in love, peace, and unity. I’m always creating whether it’s mentally or physically I’m passionate about myself and my craft.

When did you first fall in love with fashion and know that was the career for you?

Quandell: I fell in love with fashion when I was 8 years old and started sketching. My sketches were crazy looking lol but, having that freedom to create was everything to me. When I was 12, I taught myself how to hand sew and started creating patch pieces and since then I knew fashion was for me.

Can you tell us more about the William Palmer Homme brand, and what motivated it?

Quandell: William Palmer Hommè is a brand that caters to everyone. We want to make sure everyone can enjoy the pieces that I create. We support and love our community. The ultimate goal is to help redevelop our community as well. I feel like we need to engage more with our supporters and non-supporters. Finding that connection is a priority for us. Honestly, WPH is self-motivated. I make it my job to create a positive structure of my day and send that positive energy to my team.

You’re also the Director for The Detroit Fashion Community and the Branding Director for Premium Talent at Ethika records. Can you tell us more about it and how that came about?

Quandell: Being the Branding Director for DFC and Premium Talent has been an honor for me. I met Latrice, the founder of Detroit Fashion Community like 3 years ago and we just clicked instantly. I wanted to make sure that I could help her build and be her corner and I proved that and earned my position. It’s the same with Premium Talent Devan the Founder has always been a great mentor to me and when I tell you that he works mannn Devan works, you’ll think it’s 2 of him. Created these opportunities for me and I stay consistent and trustworthy to earn my position.

What advice would you give a teen or young adult with this same passion and who is interested in a career in fashion?

Quandell: The best advice that I’ll give anyone that’s joining this industry is yourself. Being you is so most impactful thing you can do in this industry. Always have self-control and practice self-love. When you’re in shape physically and mentally hey, who can stop you?

What would like our viewers to gain from this interview?

Quandell: I would hope that the viewers become more motivated by this.
