In this new series called Swarm by Donald Glover on Prime Video which is based on a crazy overly obsessed fan. Which is played by Dominique Fishback, this series also included Chloe Bailey and Damson Idris.
The series is a play on Beyoncé’s very loyal fan base known as the Beehive, but in this series they are called Swarm. This series is also based on a true story and without giving any spoilers let’s just say you don’t want to mess with the beehive because you might come across a bee that might really sting you.
Swarm will have you on the edge of your seat and talking to your tv every episode like me! It was so well written and Fishback embodied her character.
Idris and Bailey play each other’s love interest and the two have a brief sex scene together. When we asked Bailey about her thoughts when she learned she would have to do her first sex scene, she shared that she was turning 25 soon and that Damson made her feel comfortable and cracked jokes the entire time. She said once she watched it, she thought it looked so real and that the director made her feel so comfortable.
Fishback expressed that it was so different playing a Stan fan because she has never been a super big fan of anybody and neither does she like concerts. So this was totally different for her, but she feels like having fans is good for business. She also shared that it has to be a healthy love.
