Candis is 31-years-old from Atlanta, GA born and raised. She fell in love with the written word at the age of six; from there she became an avid reader and knew she wanted to become an author someday. Present-day Candis is a freelance writer for the likes of Chicken Soup for the Soul, PopSugar, Healthline, TheBody, Business Insider and as an author of Half the Battle: A Memoir. If she's not writing she is either traveling, shopping, watching a movie, or singing her heart out in the car.
