[June 18, 2025]—The Childcare Cartel, a bold new series Executive Produced by Sherri J. White, isn’t your average reality show. The series pulls back the curtain on Atlanta’s elite daycare community, and will debut debut with an exclusive, sneak peek watch party on Wednesday, July 23rd at a private location in Atlanta, Georgia. The series explores four charismatic, headstrong businesswomen; Sherri J. White, Janaya Burke, Keisha “Starr” Archer, and Sydney Jordan. These childcare moguls and rising hopefuls are determined to win, as they hustle to build empires; built by babies, budgets and bold decisions, with a goal to dominate the competitive childcare industry, and secure generational wealth.

The Childcare Cartel is a mix of ambition, entertainment, and sisterhood, that showcases women in a new positive light, changing the narratives of black women in television, where building a legacy means everything, and only the strong survive. These ladies aren’t fighting for a spot at the table when they own the building, as each of the women are boss moguls in their own right. The show’s matriarch and Executive Producer, Sherri J., CEO and Serial Entrepreneur, is set on a vision to build her childcare empire within the city of Atlanta. As the owner of three daycare centers in the city of Atlanta, she has brought together a group of like-minded women with the vision to emerge in the childcare industry while navigating friendship, business relationships, and tests of entrepreneurship to become a childcare boss.

Sherri J. isn’t just a name—she’s a force. A powerhouse CEO, published author, and speaker who turned the childcare industry on its head and then put it on camera. As the executive producer and creator of The Childcare Cartel, Sherri is the founder in chief of the Childcare Cartel, bridging the gap amongst the women to build the next set of childcare moguls.

Janaya Burke: Licensed Esthetician, Dual Business Owner and Next-Generation Mogul

The daughter of Sherri J. and self-proclaimed, baby of the collective, Janaya is trying to carve her own lane from under the shadows of her mother’s childcare empire. A serial entrepreneur with a reputable salon, Belle Lux Day Spa, she’s breaking into the industry of childcare by building a childcare center inside the same building as her spa. Janaya brings youth, ambition, and legacy energy to The Childcare Cartel. She’s soft-spoken but strategic. Elegant, but built for the empire.

Keisha “Starr” Archer: Beauty Boss. Business Architect. Childcare Power Player

Keisha “Starr” Archer is a serial entrepreneur and silent assassin within the group. As someone who is tenacious to go after any goal, she is determined to quickly break into the childcare industry and claim the title as the next childcare tycoon. In just five years, Starr has successfully scaled into ownership of two thriving childcare buildings, applying her signature precision and business acumen to a whole new lane. Her transition into childcare wasn’t loud—but it was masterful. On The Childcare Cartel, Starr is the one you underestimate—until it’s too late. Soft-spoken, but never outplayed. She lets the results speak for her.

Sydney Jordan: First-Generation Boss. Luxury Childcare Queen. Unapologetically Her

Sydney Jordan is the firecracker of the group. As a proud first-generation Bajan-American who moves with purpose, passion, and plenty of vibes, Sydney was raised on hard work, high standards, and zero tolerance for excuses. She’s built a name for herself as the straight shooter with high standards and higher impact. She’s the life of the party but moves with intention by owning what she wants and makes no apologies getting there. With nearly a decade of experience in the childcare industry, Sydney doesn’t just run a center—she curates an experience. Known for catering to medium to high-end clientele, she’s mastered the art of professionalism, warmth, and standards that speak for themselves. While some providers chase enrollment, Sydney builds elite environments where excellence is non-negotiable.
