Make sure that self-care is not a choice, but a lifestyle.  It is important that you can acknowledge the ways in which you are taking care of yourself daily, not only physically through proper check-ups, exercise, etc., but also making sure that you are assessing how you are feeling mentally and emotionally.

Make sure that when you need a break – you take it.  You need support – you seek it.  Make sure that you are checking in with yourself regularly to seek what YOU need.
