EVonne Gipson

E'Vonne Gipson is an award winning writer from Missouri City, TX. She is a graduate of Grambling State University where she received a B.A. degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in journalism and public relations. She joined the Sheen Team in 2014 and has written for JubileeMag.com, Houston Style Magazine, HBCU Buzz, CampusLately, USA Today Network’s, The News-Star and many more. She currently works with the social media team for MC Lyte's Hip Hop Sisters Network and is a proud member of The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
