The last year has forced change in the lives of everyone. Everyone has been affected one way or another. Your status didn’t matter. We all were affected.

Everyone has to go through or is going through a storm. Sometimes we are so consumed with what we have going on, we forget to make a phone call, we forget to make a visit. We are more cautious of our space and others. Most of us have spent more time learning who we are and what we like to do without the titles, without being needed, or without being wanted. So, it’s not just you. We all are adapting to the world’s “new norm” and “way of life.” Don’t beat yourself up, don’t become so dependent on others being there that you lose yourself. Some storms of life we must face to know our strengths as well as our weaknesses. Get out where there is no crowd and find your peace. Find your space. Smell the flowers. Phillipians 4:8-9 says

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” Most of all smile!
