“I love making people laugh, but music does something to your soul. I want people to feel my lyrics and rock out. Giving people an extra piece of me and allowing them to see another gift that I have is truly a blessing. I hope they receive it well because I have put in a lot of time and effort to create something that I can be proud of, and I honestly jam to my own music. I really rock out in the studio, and that’s the vibe that I want everyone to have.”
Known for her witty personality and comedy chops, Torrei Hart has decided to take on a whole different industry, music. During super bowl weekend in Los Angeles, CA, the Philly native introduced everyone to a new side of Torrei. Hitting the stage with Pink locs and a spandex jumpsuit with an off-the-shoulder crop top, Hart grabbed the mic and commanded the attention of everyone. Her rap lyrics not only captivated you, but her stage presence was on point. No stranger to the stage, she took to it like a fish out of water, and the audience received her well as she debuted her new single, “Lit.”
She says, “I’m super excited to finally step out and let everyone listen to something that I have been working on. Music is something that I love, and I have bars! People didn’t believe me when I said I was going to take the leap of faith and do it. But I did, and now everyone can fall in love with this new sound that I’m creating. I want people to see that there is more to me than comedy and acting. I bring a lot to the table, and everything that I bring has some spice to it. I’m coming with a new look and style. I’m switching up the wardrobe and showing people that people over 40 can make moves in music too.”
