It’s a new season and many are springing into new routines.  Skincare routines are among the most vital this season as many are battling new regimes due to wearing face masks all day.  Marva Jeaneane is an international, published makeup artist and DMV-based esthetician who has you covered with your beauty needs.

Hailing from South Jersey, Marva arrived into the beauty industry with a love for fashion and all things beauty-related.  Within 5 short years, she has gained experience in major fashion week productions in New York, London, and even Scotland.  Her makeup esthetics have ranged from soft bridal glam and magazine editorials to SFX gore.

Marva has worked with several celebrities, sat on a beauty panel based in NOLA; and has even been published in over 10 fashion magazines.  She is actively pursuing a degree in Nursing to further her expertise.  This spring, it’s all about tone and exfoliation. Here are some of her tips to spring into great skincare routines:

Tone:  “Toning helps minimize pores and protects your skin from everyday hazards. It also ensures your skin is clean and pure of any debris. Tone immediately after cleansing your skin in the morning & at night,” says Marva.

Exfoliate:  “Rid your skin of the wintertime build up. The dry air in colder weather creates a build up of dead skin on our faces, leaving a dull appearance and sometimes leads to breakouts. Exfoliating will help to remove the dead skin build up, and leave your skin feeling refreshed and new. Exfoliate 1-2 times a week depending on skin type,” Marva expresses.
