Sheen Magazine had the pleasure of interview Grea8 Gawd. Make sure you check out this interview below and tap in with him and his music!

How did you get into music?

I got into music from just being a fan of the culture. Watching Rap city, 106 and Park, Yo MTV Raps. I would make sure I was in front of the tv when those shows was on. I eventually started writing my own records after that and buying equipment to make beats and record with.

Who are your favorite biggest music influences?

My biggest musical influence would have to be Nas. The way he told stories and added the knowledge into his rhymes mixed with what he saw in his projects made him a genius. He was the first rapper I wanted to be like.

What type of vibe does your music give?

My music gives off a vibe of authenticity, something that the listener doesn’t have to ask “is this real or not” I like to call my Genre of music Couture level Street rap.

 What is your dream collaboration?

My Dream collab would have to be me and Nas over a Havoc Beat. When that happens I’ll feel accomplished.

How do you plan to elevate your game?

I plan to elevate my game by Releasing more visuals and just putting out more music in general in 2024. There is no reason I shouldn’t be able to put a EP out bi monthly. If I do that while touring more and getting over seas to do shows, that will elevate my game.

What are some gems to inspire our readers?

I’d just like the readers to know and understand that GREA8GAWD is the example of “It’s never too Late” Keep putting in the work and you will eventually get what you ask for. The key is keeping what you asked for though! And that’s achieved by blessing others. Dealing with equality.
